Donors without borders: PF Concept family member visits Nepal

Our donors without borders, PF Concept recently visited the land where Shanti Pant Foundation has been helping for over a year. The news was very overwhelming for the foundation family as we were able to show the real scenario of the students of Nepal.

Ralf Oster and Frans Fels from the PF Concept family spent a day visiting our committed school at Kavrepalanchowk, one of the hardest-hit districts of the huge Nepal earthquake on April 25, 2015. Our donors were welcomed by the school family of “Shree Ganesh Lower Secondary School” where the students handed over their love with few handwritten messages for them. The teachers spoke about the impact that has been made by the foundation.

They were able to see the real scenario as to how the students are studying in a very difficult village life. The children from the very poor family background are forced to skip a one-time meal and sleep in a common room with seven more family members. The students were living with their cattle in the same house which was unsafe for them.

The students live in the 2 storey house where the first one is for cattle and kitchen.

The one day trip to Kavre was fruitful as Ralf and Frans saw the vulnerable situation of the Nepalese students in the country. We as Shanti Pant Foundation is trying our best to fulfill the required commitments to the schools of rural Nepal. Our donors gesture by visiting the school made us realized that the borders don’t block a person who is extending his helping hands to the future of our world.
